In 2022 I began operating my own mobile business in which I provide Animation & Visual Effects Workshops for high school students ranging from years 7 - 12.

These workshops were developed from real life experience working within 3D Animation pipelines. My love of animation and strength in mentorship inspired me to take on the challenge of creating and successfully running workshops to teach the next generation of digital artists.  

The Animation & VFX Fundamentals Class introduces students to the 12 Principles of Animation and the typical workflow for Animation & VFX processes. Students learn programs including Photoshop, Premiere Pro and  After Effects for 2D Animation, composition, and visual effects. In person tutorials are provided and additionally recorded for students to continue learning after class. Additionally, Blender is taught to introduce elements of the 3D Animation pipeline including modelling, surfacing, animating, lighting and rendering.

The Animation & VFX Continuers Class provides students with the opportunity to specialise in 2D Animation, 3D Animation, Visual Effects or a combination of the disciplines to create their own project over a ten week term. Tutorials throughout the term are catered towards the students' interests, whether that be 3D asset modelling, 2D character animation or particle effects in Blender. Students learn the importance of feedback from peers and receive weekly 1 on 1 mentorship with their projects. 

These workshops have continued to attract full classes each term, with overwhelmingly positive reviews from students, parents, and the school's CAPA faculty.
